  • Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

  • Strain into a Rocks Glass
  • Garnish with a Cocktail Cherry and Pineapple Wedge

The Pearl Harbor has a name that is perhaps in bad taste, however, the drink itself has a good taste. The name probably comes from the fact that Pineapples, for the most part, come from Hawaii, and Midori is a Japanese liqueur.

.25 oz.Curaçao (or Triple Sec)
1 TeaspoonMaraschino Liqueur
.5 oz.Lemon Juice
.5 oz.Simple Syrup
1 DashAngostura Bitters

  • Rim a Coupe with Sugar
  • Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
  • Shake for 15 Seconds
  • Double Strain into the Sugar Rimmed Glass
  • Garnish with a Lemon Twist

The Brandy Crusta was invented in the 1850’s by an Italian Bartender named Joseph Santini at his bar, Jewel of the South, in New Orleans, Louisiana. It gets its name from the sugared rim, referring to it as a “Crusta” or “Hard Outer Layer.” This is an Official IBA Cocktail.

  • Shake for 15 Seconds
  • Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass
  • Garnish with an Apple Slice

The Appletini is easy on the Tini, as it is a Martini in name only. There are a couple different recipes for this drink, some involving Apple Brandy. This drink was featured extensively in the show Scrubs, being J.D.’s favorite drink.

  • Combine the Tequila and Lime Juice in a Copper Mug over Ice
  • Top with Ginger Beer
  • Stir till Combined
  • Garnish with a Lime Wheel, Jalapeño and Straw

The Mexican Mule is a Tequila twist on the Moscow Mule. It gets its name from the association that Tequila has with Mexico.

  • Combine the Gin, Simple Syrup, Mint and Lime Juice in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

  • Strain into a Collins Glass or Copper Mug over Ice
  • Top with Ginger Beer

The Gin-Gin Mule is a Minty twist on the London Mule. The drink was invented by Audrey Saunders at her bar, the Pegu Club, in New York City.

  • Stir for 30 Seconds
  • Strain into a Rocks Glass over Ice
  • Garnish with an Orange Peel

The Suburban is an old Cocktail that was invented at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. It was made for a Horse racer named James R. Keene and named after the Suburban Handicap Horse Race, where he raced his horses.

6Mint Leaves
3Lemon Wedges

  • Combine the Mint Leaves and Lemon Wedges in a Cocktail Shaker
  • Muddle the Lemon until the Juice comes out
  • Add the Bourbon, Simple Syrup and Ice to the Cocktail Shaker
  • Shake for 15 Seconds
  • Double Strain into a Rocks Glass over Cracked Ice
  • Garnish with a Mint Sprig

The Whiskey Smash is a Julep that is very similar to the Mint Julep. It is thought to have been invented sometime in the 1800’s, but may have been created even earlier in the 1700’s.

  • Add Ice to the Shaker
  • Wet Shake for 15 Seconds
  • Strain into a Cocktail Glass or Coupe
  • Garnish with Grated Nutmeg

The Coffee Cocktail doesn’t actually contain Coffee. It is a Flip designed to have sort of a Coffee Color. It was invented sometime in the late 1800’s, and that is about all we know about its creation. It is very similar to the Porto Flip.

  • Dry Shake vigorously for 30 Seconds
  • Add Ice to the Shaker
  • Wet Shake for 15 Seconds
  • Double Strain into a Rocks Glass over Ice
  • Garnish with 3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters

The Boston Sour is a Whiskey Sour, with the addition of Egg White. The Egg White completely changes the texture of the Whiskey Sour, making it much more frothy.
