Zombie

Ingredients
| 1.5 oz. | Dark Rum |
| 1.5 oz. | Gold Rum |
| 1 oz. | 151-Proof Rum |
| 1 Dash | Pernod (or Herbsaint/Absinthe) |
| .75 oz. | Lime Juice |
| .25 oz. | Cinnamon Syrup |
| .25 oz. | Grapefruit Juice |
| .5 oz. | Falernum |
| 1 Barspoon | Grenadine |
| 1 Dash | Angostura Bitters |
| Garnish | Mint Sprig |
Directions
- Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
- Shake for 15 Seconds
- Pour into a Zombie or a Highball Glass
- Garnish with a Mint Sprig and Straw
The Zombie was invented by Donn Beach in the 1930’s for a man who wanted something to get him through a business meeting. Apparently the man came back a couple days later complaining it made him feel like a Zombie, thus the name. The drink even has it’s own glass, which is just a skull cup. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
