Golden Fizz
Ingredients
| 2 oz. | Gin |
| 1 oz. | Lemon Juice |
| .5 oz. | Simple Syrup |
| 1 | Egg Yolk |
| To Top | Soda Water |
| Garnish | Lemon Twist |
| Garnish | Mint Sprig |
Directions
- Combine the Gin, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and Egg Yolk in a Cocktail Shaker
- Dry Shake vigorously for 30 Seconds
- Add Ice to the Shaker
- Wet Shake for 15 Seconds
- Double Strain into a Collins Glass
- Top with Soda Water
- Garnish with a Lemon Twist and Mint Sprig
The Golden Fizz, like the Silver Fizz and Royal Fizz, is a variation of the Gin Fizz. The Gin Fizz contains no Egg, while the Golden Fizz has an Egg Yolk, the Silver Fizz has Egg White and the Royal Fizz has both.
