Beer Float

Beer Float

Ingredients

Beer
Ice Cream

Directions

  • Pour Beer into a Beer Mug while leaving room
  • Scoop Ice Cream into the Beer Mug

A Beer Float is like a Root Beer Float, but with Beer. Adding the Beer first is pretty important, because if you pour it over the Ice Cream, the foam will get all hard and it will become difficult to continue adding beer. You can use whatever Beer you want, but a Porter or Stout works really well. Just be smart with what you use, because Cotton Candy Ice Cream might not taste great with a Double IPA.

If you make it with a different Rum, it is not a Dark ‘n’ Stormy. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
