Homemade Fruit Syrups

Ingredients
| 2 Parts | White Sugar |
| 1 Part | Fruit |
| 1 Part | Water |
| 1 Splash | Vodka |
Directions
- Combine the Sugar and Water in a Cooking Pot over Medium Heat
- Add the Fruit to the Pot
- Muddle the Fruit to release the Juices
- Heat until almost Boiling while constantly Stirring
- Double Strain into a Glass Jar or Bottle once the Sugar is dissolved
- Add the Vodka and Shake
Fruit Simple Syrups are used in a variety of Cocktails like Raspberry Syrup in the Clover Club. You can also use them on your Waffles and Pancakes. You can use fresh or frozen fruit, but Fresh is almost always best. The splash of Vodka is used to help extend the Shelf Life.
