Old Cuban

Ingredients
| 1.5 oz. | Dark Rum |
| .75 oz. | Lime Juice |
| 1 oz. | Simple Syrup |
| 6 | Mint Leaves |
| 2 Dashes | Angostura Bitters |
| To Top | Chilled Champagne (Sparkling Wine) |
| Garnish | Mint Sprig |
Directions
- Combine the Rum, Lime Juice, Mint, Simple Syrup and Bitters in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
- Shake for 15 seconds
- Double Strain into a Champagne Coupe
- Top with Champagne
- Garnish with a Mint Sprig
The Old Cuban was invented in 2001 by legendary bartender, Audrey Saunders, while she worked at a restaurant named Beacon in New York City. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
