The KIR Imperial is a riff on the KIR Royal, which itself is a riff on the KIR. The KIR Imperial uses Raspberry Liqueur, while the KIR Royal uses Crème de Cassis.

1 oz. Raspberry Liqueur (or Crème de Cassis)
.75 oz.Lemon Juice
.5 oz.Simple Syrup
To TopChampagne (Sparkling Wine)

Directions

  • Combine the Vodka, Liqueur, Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
  • Shake for 15 seconds
  • Pour into a Highball Glass over Ice
  • Top with Champagne
  • Garnish with Raspberries and a Straw

The Russian Spring Punch was invented in the 1980’s by Dick Bradsell in London, England. He apparently made it for his friends at a cocktail party while trying to minimize the cost. It’s name comes from Vodka which is usually associated with Russia and the Tom Collins, which is considered a spring cocktail. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.

The KIR was invented in the 1800’s and used to called Blac-Cassis. It was renamed after Félix Kir, who was the major of Dijon, France. I don’t know who the name is usually spelled in all capitol letters though. If you use Champagne it is a KIR Royal. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.

  • Take the Shot and then Slam the Glass down after

The Slammer Royal is a riff of the Tequila Slammer that uses Champagne instead of Ginger Ale or Lemon-lime Soda. The extra alcohol content makes this shot hit just a little harder.

The London Calling is a cocktail invented in 2002 by Chris Jepson at the Milk & Honey in London, England. The name is perhaps a reference to The Clash song of the same name.

  • Combine the Liquor, Fruit Juice, Passion Fruit, Simple Syrup and Bitters in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

  • Strain into a Rocks Glass over Cracked Ice
  • Float the Port on Top
  • Garnish with a Mint Sprig

The South Sea Dipper is another Trader Vic Cocktail, although it is one of his lesser known ones. It’s Wine Float makes it look sort of like the New York Sour.

The Porn Star Martini was invented by Douglas Ankrah at Townhouse Bar in London, England in 2002. It got it’s name because Douglas was inspired to make this drink by the smell of a strippers perfume. It is served with a shot of Champagne to help cleans the pallet between sips.

The Fog Cutter was invented by Victor Bergeron (Trader Vic) in the 1940’s. Like the Painkiller and Corpse Reviver No. 2, it was invented as a hangover cure. It is supposed to cut through the haze of the morning after heavy drinking.

The Tuxedo is a riff on the Martini and the precursor to the much more famous Tuxedo No. 2. It was probably invented at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City and named after Tuxedo Park, an elite upstate community.
