Yellow Bird – Sour Version

Ingredients
| 1.5 oz. | White Rum |
| .75 oz. | Galliano |
| .75 oz. | Triple Sec |
| .75 oz. | Lime Juice |
| Garnish | Lime Wheel |
| Garnish | Cocktail Cherry |
Directions
- Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
- Shake for 15 Seconds
- Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass
- Garnish with a Lime Wheel and Cocktail Cherry
The history of the Yellow Bird is quite unclear. Many think it was named after a Haitian song called Choucone, which was rewritten into English as “Yellow Bird.” There are a couple different variants of this drink. The IBA version that is a Sour, and a more tropical one. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
Yellow Bird – Tropical Version

Ingredients
| .75 oz. | White Rum |
| .75 oz. | Gold Rum |
| .5 oz. | Banana Liqueur |
| .25 oz. | Galliano |
| 1.5 oz. | Orange Juice |
| 1 oz. | Pineapple Juice |
| .25 oz. | Lime Juice |
| Garnish | Orange Slice (or Pineapple Wedge) |
| Garnish | Cocktail Cherry |
Directions
- Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
- Shake for 15 Seconds
- Double Strain into a Collins Glass over Ice
- Garnish with an Orange Slice, Cocktail Cherry and Straw
