The Hankey Panky was invented in the early 1900’s by Ada Coleman at Savoy Hotel in London, England. It was supposedly made for and named by actor Sir Charles Hawtrey after he shouted “By Jove! That is the real hanky-panky!” The drink is very similar to the Martinez. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
