South Side
Ingredients
2 oz. | Gin |
1 oz. | Lemon Juice |
.5 oz. | Simple Syrup |
7 | Mint Leaves |
Directions
- Combine Gin, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup and 6 Mint Leaves in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
- Shake for 15 seconds
- Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass or Coupe
- Garnish with a Mint Leaf
The South Side, or Southside, was either invented in and named after the Southside Sportsman’s Club of Long Island, New York or the South Side district of Chicago, Illinois where it was thought to have been Al Capone’s drink of choice. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
