The Classic Martini, or Dry Martini, is where it all started for martini’s. The Wet Martini is they same drink, but with different ratios of Dry Vermouth and Gin. Nobody knows when or where the first Martini was made, but it was probably sometime in the 1800’s. It inspired many riffs and spin-offs including the Vodka Martini, Perfect Martini, Dirty Martini and Vesper. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
